Catalytic Finance Foundation is looking for an Investment Intern (Intern)

Organization Overview

Catalytic Finance Foundation focuses on accelerating catalytic finance solutions for sustainable infrastructure, combining financial returns with positive social and environmental outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

The intern will report to the Investment Specialist and support:

• Assist in deploying concessional capital within the mandates of GFCR and Canopy Trust
• Project identification and investment process support (assessment, due diligence, valuation, negotiation)
• Investment Committee documentation preparation
• Data collection for monitoring, evaluation, and reporting
• Management of project tracking tools and templates
• Ad-hoc research including market analysis and regulatory mapping
• Administrative and communication tasks

Required Qualifications

• Currently pursuing Bachelor's or Master's degree in finance, environmental studies, business administration, international development, or related field
• Experience in private equity, corporate finance, impact investment, or sustainable finance preferred
• Strong Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Proficient English level in writing and speaking; French proficiency is a strong plus
• Project management and corporate finance knowledge
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Position Details

Duration: March to May 2026 (flexible)

Location: Geneva, Switzerland (full-time, on-site with home-office allowance)
