International Catholic Migration Commission is looking for a Director of Programs

The International Catholic Migration Commission (ICMC) is seeking a Director of Programs to join their Executive Leadership Team, reporting directly to the Secretary General.

ICMC is an entity of the Catholic Church and an international non-governmental organization serving refugees, asylum seekers, and migrants globally.

Primary Responsibilities

Program Oversight

• Ensure high-quality programs serving uprooted people align with organizational strategy
• Manage field offices in Greece and Turkey
• Oversee donor-funded initiatives
• Implement project management standards with MEAL methodologies

Business Development

• Lead proposal design and coordinate opportunities with fundraising department
• Manage BD staff

Team Supervision

• Manage Program Managers and conduct performance reviews
• Foster professional development across the team

Required Qualifications

• Master's degree in international development or related field
• Minimum 8 years field-based program management experience
• At least 4 years senior management experience
• Proficiency with institutional donor program management (design, budgeting, MEAL, reporting)
• Team leadership and staff supervision experience
• Business development and proposal writing background
• Strategic partnership experience, particularly with faith-based organizations
• English fluency required; Arabic, French, Italian, or Spanish proficiency preferred
• Willingness to travel up to 10% internationally
