We are seeking a **Finance Officer** with 5 years of post-qualification experience to manage day-to-day financial and accounting activities, support budgeting and grant management, and ensure transparency and compliance in financial reporting. You will join a motivated, collaborative team in a young organisation, with the opportunity to improve financial tools and processes to strengthen governance and support the organisation’s growth.\n\n## Main Responsibilities\n\n### Financial management and budgeting\n\n- Lead the annual budgeting process and ensure accurate budget monitoring.\n- Monitor cash flow, liquidity and financial sustainability of the organisation.\n- Prepare financial analyses, forecasts and management reports.\n- Manage the organisation’s bank accounts and payment processes.\n- Support teams in preparing budgets for new project proposals.\n\n### Accounting, audits and internal control\n\n- Oversee daily accounting operations carried out by the fiduciary and contribute to the annual closing.\n- Manage invoicing, receivables and internal controls.\n- Coordinate external audits and ensure timely follow-up on recommendations.\n\n### Donor relations and reporting\n\n- Serve as the financial focal point for institutional donors and foundations, ensuring timely and compliant reporting.\n- Ensure proper financial tracking, compliance and documentation for all grants and projects.\n- Support donor-related financial activities and participate in audits or reviews as required.\n\n### Tools, processes and team collaboration\n\n- Develop dashboards, optimise financial processes and support teams in budget monitoring.\n- Collaborate closely with HR, Administration and other teams, staying abreast of finance best practices and regulatory changes.\n\n## Your Profile\n\n- Swiss Federal Diploma in Finance and Accounting, or Bachelor’s \u002F Master’s degree in Finance or equivalent.\n- Minimum of **5 years post-qualification experience (PQE)**.\n- In-depth knowledge of **Swiss accounting, financial and tax regulations**.\n- Experience in an international organisation and\u002For donor relations is an asset.\n- Proven skills in budgeting, cash management and internal controls.\n- Solid background in accounting systems, including setup, use and monitoring.\n- **Fluency in both French and English, written and spoken, is required**.
