More information can be found on our website at www.iss-ssi.org.\n\nThe Network Development & Engagement Unit is looking for an Officer focusing on development and strengthening the ISS global network through member engagement, network expansion, integration of new members, and coordination of capacity-building activities. The Membership Development & Engagement Officer will report to the Membership Development & Engagement Head and the Secretary General.\n\n## Main Responsibilities\n\n- Act as the main point of contact for all matters related to the development and maintenance of the network.\n- Implement and monitor the network development and training strategy (2024 -2028).\n- Implement the network guidelines and priorities regarding member engagement.\n- Identify and maintain contacts with potential partners in underrepresented regions in line with agreed priorities.\n- Coordinate the membership, due diligence and onboarding procedures for new members according to set procedures.\n- Contribute to the review and improvement of network policies, procedures and membership processes through relevant working groups.\n- Maintain partners' engagement through targeted exchanges and cooperation (regional and thematic approaches).\n- Monitor the CRM system and membership data.\n- Develop and coordinate capacity-building events and continuing professional development programmes.\n- Prepare documents, analyses and proposals for the Membership Committee and other governing bodies.\n- Ensure effective communication between the General Secretariat and the Network members.\n- Design and prepare content of the Unit's communication materials such as leaflets, presentations, newsletters, etc.\n- Support and collaborate with other GS Units as required.\n\n## Qualifications & Skills\n\n- Graduate degree in social sciences, law, management, communication, administration, or other relevant fields.\n- Proven professional experience of 3+ years in membership, project or stakeholder management.\n- Experience working in a multicultural environment, NGO or International Organisations is a plus.\n- Fluent both written and spoken in English, with working knowledge of French and\u002For Spanish, is a must.\n- Great interpersonal and presentation skills.\n- Advanced computer skills, experience with CRM or design tools is a plus.\n- Self-motivated with strong problem-solving abilities.\n- High level of autonomy yet with a profound team spirit.\n- Excellent organisational, planning and time management abilities.\n- Ability to travel occasionally.\n\nThe ISS General Secretariat offers a flexible working environment within a dedicated multicultural team.
