Lutheran World Federation (LWF) is looking for a Stress Management Specialist for Field Staff

LWF World Service seeks a specialist to provide mental health support to international field staff working in over 25 countries. The role addresses the psychological demands of humanitarian work in challenging contexts.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-deployment briefings for field staff on psychological challenges
• Provide individualized counselling sessions via online meetings
• Deliver virtual presentations to country teams on stress management and resilience
• Maintain strict confidentiality of personal data per protection regulations
• Submit quarterly reports on supported staff, trends, and observations
• Advise HR on emerging staff care issues and recommend interventions
• Communicate promptly when organizational action is needed

Requirements

• Relevant university degree
• Minimum 3 years experience in similar functions
• Fluent English; French and/or Spanish preferred
• Additional languages used in country programs are assets

Contract: Consultant, one year (with possible extension)
Remuneration: €70-110 per hour
