MSF Operational Center Geneva (MSF OCG) is one of these centres.\n\nThe MSFCH Associative Intern supports the work of the Associative Team and Board in contributing to maintain an active and informed membership within the MSF Switzerland Association. The role contributes to the governance of MSF by facilitating members’ engagement, organisation of activities, and support for associative processes.\n\n## Tasks and responsibilities\n\n- Support the planning, coordination, and delivery of key associative events and communications – including Field Associative Debates (FADs), the MSFCH General Assembly (GA), and Swiss-based activities – within the framework of the Associative Plan of Action, to foster engagement and timely participation.\n- Contribute to the production, editing, and translation of associative content – such as articles, newsletters, GA materials, and updates in French and English – within MSFCH communication platforms and channels, to ensure accessible, consistent, and engaging information-sharing across the association.\n- Provide logistical and administrative support – including event coordination, membership management, travel arrangements, hospitality for Mission Associative representatives and room preparation – as part of organizing the MSFCH General Assembly and other key events, to create an inclusive, engaging, and smoothly run environment.\n- Produce, maintain, and organize documentation and knowledge assets—including meeting minutes, presentations, planning documents, and associative records—and contribute to the continuous improvement of knowledge management tools and systems in line with MSFCH practices, supporting transparency, institutional memory, continuity, and effective governance.\n- Collaborate on ad-hoc projects and support tasks – assigned by the MSFCH President or Association & Networking Coordinator – within the evolving needs of the associative team.\n\n## Your profile\n\n- Have a tripartite internship agreement\n- Tertiary degree completed or in progress\n- English and French: excellent writing and communication skills\n- Spanish; Portuguese or Arabic an asset\n- Experience or strong interest in communications, event organization, or administrative support (e.g. through volunteer work, student activities, or previous internships);\n- Interest in humanitarian action and participatory dynamics is strongly valued.\n- Basic understanding of the humanitarian sector and interest in the work and principles of Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF);\n- Familiarity with civil society organisations, particularly membership-based governance (e.g., boards, general assemblies, debates, voting);\n- Awareness of associative dynamics in NGOs is an asset.\n- Basic knowledge of event coordination workflows – including planning timelines, logistics checklists, and stakeholder communication;\n- Understanding of content production processes – drafting, editing, translating, publishing.\n- Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); SharePoint; Mailchimp (or similar); CMS; Teams; Zoom\n\n## Terms of employment\n\n**Type of contract:** A tripartite internship agreement is mandatory\n\n**Duration:** 6 to 9 months, according to internship agreement\n\n**Hours:** Full time (40h\u002Fweek)\n\n**Location:** Based in Geneva, Switzerland\n\n**Start date:** October 2026\n\n**Remuneration:** Gross monthly remuneration 2'000.- CHF\n\n## How to apply\n\nCandidates are invited to submit their application exclusively through our recruitment platform, following these guidelines:\n\n- CV (maximum 2 pages)\n- Cover letter (maximum 1 page)\n\nDocuments must be submitted in either English or French.\n\n**Application deadline:** 2026-09-07\n\nWe reserve the right to close this vacancy earlier if we receive a sufficient number of quality applications.
