Under the supervision of the Head of UNRSF, the incumbent is expected to contribute to the work of the UNRSF Secretariat as follows:\n\n## Duties and Responsibilities\n\n- Support the Call for Proposals process and related project activities, including project follow-up, review of the project extensions, project closure tracking;\n- Draft articles, briefing notes and other outreach communications to help raise visibility of the global road safety crisis;\n- Support the events, campaigns, projects and activities planned of the UNRSF;\n- Support the relevant activities of the UNRSF on social media;\n- Supporting in compiling, tracking and following-up to update project contribution to the logical framework of the Fund;\n- Supporting in the preparation for, and the execution of workshops, events and meetings hosted by the Secretariat, often involving project teams and other stakeholders;\n- Supporting in project management activities, including monitoring, project closing or extending processes;\n- Supporting in the outreach and development of strategic partnerships, involving background research and communication with partner agencies;\n- Supporting in compiling and managing databases of project information, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information and maintaining master Excel documents essential to project operations;\n- Supporting in internal and external communications with project stakeholders to follow up on project progress;\n- Supporting in coordinating meeting schedules, draft meeting minutes in an accurate, organized, and concise manner;\n- Performing other duties as requested.\n\n## Qualifications\u002Fspecial skills\n\nTo qualify for the United Nations Internship Programme, the following conditions must be met:\n\n- Applicants to the United Nations internship programme must at the time of application meet one of the following requirements:\n  - Be enrolled in a graduate school programme (second university degree or equivalent, or higher);\n  - Be enrolled in the final academic year of a first university degree programme (minimum bachelor's level or equivalent);\n- Be computer literate in standard software applications;\n- Have a demonstrated keen interest in the work of the United Nations and have a personal commitment to the ideals of the Charter;\n- Applicants for all countries are accepted and under-represented or un-represented countries in the UN are encouraged to apply.\n\nNo working experience is required to apply for the United Nations Internship Programme. Your training, education, advance course work or skills should benefit the United Nations during your internship.
