To achieve this, the Special Programme provides funds to developing countries and countries with economies in transition to implement projects focusing on aspects such as a) policy, legislation & regulation, b) stakeholder engagement, c) organizational structures, d) monitoring & enforcement, and e) mainstreaming of the sound management of chemicals and waste. Through this mechanism, the Special Programme has approved 91 projects for funding since its creation in 2015. This will be the third assessment of closed projects under the Special Programme and will look take stock of “what has worked well” and “where are the areas of improvement” for the projects included in the assessment. In this context, the Special Programme is looking for an independent expert to conduct this assessment. The findings and recommendations of this assessment will feed into the Special Programme Secretariat’s future work and provide lessons learned to enhance project implementation in different countries in the future. The responsibilities and objectives are: \n\n- Conduct the data collection in selected countries\n- Conduct the analysis based on the data collected\n- Formulate findings, conclusions and recommendations\n- Submit Assessment reports (5 deliverables are requested)\n\n## Qualifications\u002Fspecial skills\nMaster’s degree in Management, Social Sciences, Economics, Environment, Development, Law, Natural Sciences or any other related field.
