Position Summary

A permanent, part-time advisory role supporting WBCSD's China strategy, working under the Executive Vice President of Imperatives.

Role Overview

The Adviser will help build out a China strategy for the organization, drawing on deep knowledge of the Chinese business landscape and sustainability agenda.

Responsibilities

• Support the EVP leading the China Regional Program through strategic advice and network connections
• Advise on prospective member organizations for engagement
• Facilitate planning and coordination sessions among internal China-focused staff on the EVP's behalf
• Engage primarily through virtual collaboration

Qualifications & Profile

• Deep familiarity with China's business environment, including both state-owned and privately owned enterprises
• Background in international business and sustainability, with knowledge of WBCSD's mission
• Understanding of China's policy and sustainability landscape and its cross-border implications
• Fluency in both Chinese and English

Working Mode & Location

• Permanent, part-time role based in Geneva, with minimal travel required to China
• Hybrid and flexible working arrangement available
