(temporary contract, October 2026 to September 2028, Geneva based)
The World Economic Forum brings together leaders from business, government, academia, and civil society to address global challenges and improve the state of the world. Within the Forum’s Centre for Nature and Climate, the Forest Future Alliance (FFA) mobilises private-sector and philanthropic action to advance the conservation, restoration, and stewardship of forest landscapes as critical infrastructure for economic resilience.
Housed within the Forest Future Alliance, the Global Wildfire Leadership Network supports private sector and philanthropic investors to navigate the complex risks of wildfire and build resilience across landscapes, forested and non-forested alike, through collective action, solution-thinking, and innovation.
The Global Wildfire Leadership Network is scaling its member network and delivery portfolio. We are seeking a Programme Specialist to support day-to-day network coordination, member engagement, knowledge exchange, and high-quality delivery of global and regional events and reporting.
The Programme Specialist will report to the Wildfire Community Lead and work in close collaboration with the Forest Future Alliance team and relevant colleagues across the World Economic Forum.
Join an independent and impartial organization with over 55 years of connecting leaders to make sense of global challenges and move the world forward together.
Be part of a global team that brings leaders together through dialogue, to build trust, and turn shared understanding of complex global issues into collective solutions. Our culture is grounded in care, curiosity and respect, encouraging genuine dialogue and meaningful collaboration. By investing in trust and understanding, we create an environment where everyone can contribute fully to our shared mission.
Work in an environment that values shared learning, diverse perspectives, and real-world collaboration, helping you grow through challenge, not routine. At the Forum, every role contributes to global progress. We advance together and help our partners shape solutions that make a lasting impact.
