Contribute to the related activities and events (World Water Week, IAH, COP etc) \n\n ii. Collaborate with partners in NHMS Germany and Universities for the implementation of HydroSOS.  \n\n iii. Collaborate with external partners and contribute to research papers relevant to activities in the WMO Plan of action – Hydrology.    \n\n iv. Undertake other duties as requested by the Director of the Hydrology, and Cryosphere Division and other Executives as required on matters associated with the activities and outputs of the Department, in particular as these relate to the HC domain.  \n\n v. Carry out other relevant duties as required.  \n\n## Required Skills and Experience \n\n### Education: \n Masters in Hydrology, Environmental Sciences or relevant fields is required. PhD in Hydrology, Environmental Sciences or relevant fields would be an asset. \n\n### Experience: \n - A minimum of 5 Years progressively responsible experience in UN related or other public reports related to Hydrology, Water Assessments is a must.  \n - Experience in coordinating with multiple partners, Member States is an advantage.  \n - Familiarity with the structure and working procedures and activities of WMO is desirable. \n\n### Other Requirements: \n - Knowledge of climate/water/weather service frameworks. \n\n- Strong analytical skills and ability to develop guidance materials and provide support in capacity building.  \n\n- Coding knowledge, and hands on experience with hydrological models is an advantage \n\n### Languages: \n Excellent knowledge of English (both oral and written).
